ADMISSIONS POLICY:
Vineyard Christian
School has an academically accelerated program. This program, when
combined with a broad base of elementary experiences and an encouraging
environment, makes for a rich school experience. The school is not
able to accommodate those students who demonstrate severe grade
level deficiencies or behavioral problems, We will do all we can
to assist with alternative school placement when indicated.
A primary goal
of Vineyard Christian School is the development of Christian character
and leadership in our students. To accomplish this, the active support
and involvement of the parents of our students is needed and appreciated.
Our school
staff is made up of committed Christians who seek to serve God and
people as openly and honestly as we can. It is consistent with our
purpose to encourage each of our students and families to have,
or be willing to have, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
as Savior and Lord. Since this is our purpose, we will be encouraging
school families in regular prayer, Bible reading and church attendance.
The school is a ministry of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of
Newport Beach.
Vineyard Christian
School admits and does not discriminate against students of any
gender, handicap, race, color, national or ethnice origin in the
administration of its education policies, admission policies, scholarship
programs or other school administered programs.
Though not
part of our formal curriculum, some issues may be discussed in age
appropriate ways by our teachers in the classroms and by speakers
in Chapel programs. These may include the subjects of abortion,
pre-marital sex, use of mind altering substances, homosexuality,
and the creation/evolution models of origins. Our intent will be
to impart values based upon Biblical teaching.
